February is going to be a great month. I just know it.
Scenic Inspiration
February started with a roar… coming in like a lion (or is that March?) with the biggest snowstorm we’ve had in years. In my neck of the woods (literally speaking), we have about eight inches of the white stuff. Check out the beauty of new snow in our wooded backyard in the photo below (yes, that’s my backyard).
February Goals
One of my goals for February is to submit one or more polished pieces of fiction every week. It might be a 101-word piece of flash or a longer short story like the one I wrote last week for NYC Midnight’s Short Story Challenge.
I took a short walk in the snowy woods this afternoon. Nature really does inspire. I’ll have to do that again soon, with or without snow!
